Business: Natural Food invested 6 million BAM in B&H

natural foodThe most modern cold storage warehouse for freezing soft fruit and berries, which is owned by Natural Food Ltd. Sarajevo, was opened in Vitez.

Company for the purchase and processing of soft fruits and berries, Natural Food Ltd. Sarajevo and Bos Agro Food Ltd. which are members of Nordic Food Group from Sweden, have purchased a total of 3,000 tons of raspberries (variety Meeker and Willamette) on the area of B&H until today. Autumn harvest of raspberry (variety Polka) is taking place at the moment with the planned amount of 500 tons in 2015.

Total planned quantity for purchase of soft fruit and berries during the season 2015 for these two companies amounts to 5,000 tons, and they have secured funding of 10 million EUR, which is in accordance with their plan.

During 2014 and 2015, Natural Food Ltd. Sarajevo invested 6 million BAM in two cold storages, of which a million BAM in Željezno Polje, and 5 million BAM in Vitez. Newly opened cold storage warehouse in Vitez is one of the most modern cold storages in this part of South East Europe.

Cold storage warehouse in Željezno Polje has a capacity of 30 tons for daily freezing and 300 tons of storage, while the cold storage warehouse in Vitez has a capacity of 75 tons for daily freezing and 1,800 tons of storage.
