[wzslider autoplay=”true”]The City Hall, one of the most famous tourist attractions of Sarajevo, since last Saturday has become a place to get married since last Saturday.

More than 60,000 citizens of Sarajevo and B&H, as well as tourists from all continents, visited the City Hall after its re-opening in July last year, and recently this attraction became a place that gives opportunity for young married couples to celebrate the most important day in their lives.

The interest for the wedding in the City Hall is huge, and the most of the registered people so far are B&H citizens from abroad.

The first wedding in the Sarajevo City Hall was held on the 19th of September in a representative Ceremonial Hall, which is built in pseudo-Moorish style just like the building itself, with decorative elements of oriental architecture.

Newlyweds Alica and Vishna organized the wedding with Sarajevo and international character, and the ceremony was attended by both local and foreign guests.

“It is our honor to be the first ones who got married in the former city library with such profound history,” said the bride, adding that the organizing team of the City Hall did a great job with cocktails and classical music.

Wedding photographer was Eldar Nurković, who the bride and groom chose six or seven months ago.

“Alica led the complete organization of her wedding from the USA and we contacted only through the e-mails. We’ve never seen. She explained to me how everything will look like long time ago and I just could not wait because I have not worked anything like this before,” said Nurković, adding that this is his favorite wedding so far.
