A large business delegation from the United Arab Emirates, led by the Secretary General of the Chamber of Commerce of UAE Mohammed A. Al-Nuaimi, visited BBI bank this week within preparations for the upcoming Sarajevo Business Forum 2017 (SBF), as announced by the BBI Bank.
The delegation consisted of 16 representatives of international companies and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce from the fields of agriculture, construction, and tourism, as well as the real estate sector.
“BiH is a beautiful country and I have only positive impressions so far. Also, this country has a great economic potential and upon my return to the UAE, I will invite businesswomen to invest in this beautiful country,” said Fatma al-Mualla, a member of the Chamber of Commerce of UAE and the Chairman of the Council of Business Women of the Chamber of Commerce of UAE.
“We are in BiH for the first time and we are delighted with what we have seen here, with the natural beauty and the opportunities that this country offers. We visited factories for the production of food and we realized that there is a great potential in the production of organic food as well. We are planning to come again and establish cooperation in the field of food production, as well as other areas, especially the sector of tourism,” said Al Nuaimi.
During the conversation with the management of BBI, guests from UAE were introduced with the activities that BBI Bank is undertaking within the organization of investment conference Sarajevo Business Forum and bringing foreign investors in BiH.
The Head of the BBI VIP Business Club Azra Colic presented opportunities for cooperation and investment in the region through Sarajevo Business Forum.
“Every year, Sarajevo Business Forum is gathering businessmen from all across the region, more than 200 of B2B meetings of regional businessmen and foreign investors is held and business contacts are made. They are also interested in investing in fields of agriculture and organic food production. There is also interest in investing in the sector of tourism and energy sector, and we invited them to come to BiH again on 22 and 23 May, and participate in the work of the SBF,” said Colic after the meeting.
