Delegation of FIPA and 24 Companies from BiH at the Macfrut 2017 Fair in Italy

macfrutThe Foreign Investments Promotion Agency in BiH (FIPA) in cooperation with Macfrut, the leading Italian fair of production, logistics and distribution of fruits and vegetables, is participating at the Macfrut 2017 fair together with 24 companies from BiH, and the fair is taking place from May 10 to 12, in Rimini, Italy.

Exhibitors from a total of 40 countries from 5 continents are participating at this year’s 34th International Fair Macfrut 2017. The fair is held in 8 pavilions on an area of 50,000 square meters.

On the first day of the fair, representatives of FIPA and BH companies realized successful contacts with exhibitors at the faiR. Besides B2B meetings, participants of the fair organized demonstration of modern agricultural equipment and logistics solutions.

Representatives of the FIPA and BH companies had more than 100 conversation with Italian companies, which, among other things, are specialized in the field of production and distribution of organic feed, cultivation of plants through the method of hydroponics, the application of new technologies in the agricultural production, the protection of crops from natural disasters and pests, the production of plants and seeds, as well as logistics and services.

Italian companies showed interest in BiH. Realization of concrete cooperation between Italian and BH companies is expected in the coming period as a result of these meetings.

Representatives of FIPA presented investment opportunities in the agricultural sector of BiH during meetings with Italian companies.
