Although Srebrenica had a hard year because of floods, fires and because the delays of the implementation of the election results the municipality did not enter an economic crisis.
Analysing 2012, and planning 2013, newly elected mayor of Srebrenica Ćamil Duraković, said to FENA that his priority will be the realization of the platform ”Srebrenica 2020”
He added that the priority will be the systematization of jobs in the administration and economic development of Srebrenica.
In the period to come ”ASA Prevent” company is planning to hire 80 new workers, and factory ”Cimos 2” is also going to be opened soon.
”I shall do everything to keep our natural resources and I’d rather resign than go against the citizens. I will try to unify the citizens of Srebrenica, and stop ethnic divisions’’, said Duraković
