karacic2 (1)Since he stood on the goal of the first team of Zrinjski, young Goran Karačić has not been forced to take the ball out from the net.

Karačić’s series last for 8 matches, or 705 minutes, if we consider that during the last 15 minutes of the match Sarajevo – Zrinjski he was not standing between the goalposts due to the injury.

Adnan Gušo is still holding the record in the Premier League, who has not received a goal for total of 1,180 minutes as the goalkeeper of FC Željezničar in the season 2011/2012. Denis Zvonić interrupted his series in the match Velež – Željezničar, which was played in Mostar.

In order to break Gušo’s record, young Karačić should remain unbeaten in the next 5 matches which is unrealistic. In the next round, Zrinjski will play match against Borac in Banja Luka.

Goran Karačić is player of young national team of B&H and the younger brother of the famous handball players Ivan and Igor.
