The first issues of the agenda at today’s regular session of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly was the air pollution in the Canton.
Minister of Planning and Environmental Protection of Sarajevo Canton Zlatko Petrović stated that the situation is being monitored, the measures issued by the Ministry are still in force and he added that the situation is not yet alarming.
He confirmed that the Ministry of Internal Affairs since Friday has controlled around 1.700 vehicles in traffic to check whether they have catalytic converters and engine euro 3 standards.
10 vehicles are excluded from the traffic and about 500 recommendations have been given.
