Caring parents in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will receive the status of insured in the health insurance system. This was made possible by the adoption of amendments to the Law on Health Insurance at today’s session of the House of Peoples of the Federal Parliament.

The law stipulates that contributions are paid by the center for social work, that is, by the municipal service for social protection. Funds from the budget in the amount of 17.5 million marks were provided for the implementation of the law.

The delegates also supported the Proposal of the Law on Social Protection Institutions of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and supported the decision on the method of carrying out the rebalancing of the financial plan of the Institute of Health Insurance and Reinsurance for the current year.
