In the Main Counting Center of the Central Election Commission /CEC/BiH, the counting of votes received by mail has begun, and if there are no unforeseen circumstances, the results of the election will be determined by October 24, that is, by the legal deadline, stated the President of the CEC, Jovan Kalaba.

“We have mail that is not “on new technologies”. It has to be scanned and counted manually. We have started with that work and we are not late,” Kalaba pointed out, and added that the counting of votes received by mail is going according to plan.

He added that on Saturday, October 10, the last packages of votes received by mail were collected.

The general elections in BiH were held on October 4, and according to preliminary data from the CEC, 99.04 percent of regular polling stations were processed, that is, 5,073 out of a total of 5,122 regular polling stations.
