At today’s session, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina continued the process of verifying the applications of political subjects to participate in the 2026 General Elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina scheduled for Sunday, October 4. The deadline for submitting applications for political parties and independent candidates expired on May 22, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. A total of 81 applications were submitted to the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, namely 77 political parties and 4 independent candidates.
The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina certified the applications of a total of 75 political parties and 4 independent candidates in full or in part on 05/29/2026 and today, after the expiration of the deadline for eliminating deficiencies.
After updating the data, an overview of verified political parties and independent candidates will be published on the website of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina http://www.izbori.ba.
In accordance with the Instruction on the deadlines and order of electoral activities of direct elections for the General Elections of 2026, the deadline for submitting applications for certification of coalitions is from June 8 to 16, 2026 until 4:00 p.m., the Central Election Commission of BiH announced.
