electionsThe Central Election Commission (CEC) of BiH has not made a decision regarding the repetition of elections in Stolac, because there are no conditions for that, said a spokeswoman Maksida Piric after a meeting of the CEC in Sarajevo.

Piric recalled that meeting with members of the Municipal election commission from Stolac was held, when it was agreed that Stolac commission will have a meeting and then inform the CEC if its members want to continue to work as members of the Municipal election commission.

Elections in Stolac were interrupted because of the incident that took place on the 2nd of October, when local elections were held in BiH.

Members of Stolac election commission Ivan Peric, Avdo Jaganjac and Meliha Kapor attended the meeting with representatives of the CEC.

After the meeting, Jaganjac said that the CEC left them the possibility to declare in written form whether they want to be part of the continuation of the electoral process in Stolac.
