Celebration of 30th Anniversary of Sarajevo Winter Olympic Games in Prague

U PRAGU OBILJEŽENA 30. OBLJETNICA ZOI U SARAJEVUAn evening dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Sarajevo Winter Olympic Games was held on Thursday at the Czech Center in Prague, organized by the Embassy of B&H in Czech Republic.

Representatives of diplomatic corps and Czech Institutions, athletes who participated at the Sarajevo Winter Olympic Games, B&H citizens and Czech citizens, students from B&H attended the evening that was hosted by the Ambassador of B&H to the Czech Republic Danka Savić.

A conversation followed after a film screening about the Winter Olympic Games 84. Czech athletes Pavel Ploc, Gabriela Soukalova-Svobodova, Dagmar Hromadkova-Švubova and Kveta Peckova-Jeriova,winners of silver and gold medals at the Olympics in Sarajevo, former trainer of the Yugoslav team Jaroslav Honcu, brought up memories on the days spent in Sarajevo in 1984. They called the Olympics in Sarajevo as their favorite, especially because of the hospitality that surrounded them, announced the PR Office of the B&H Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
