[wzslider autoplay=”true”]Muslims all over the world will celebrate Eid on Friday, the 17th of July.

Within B&H, Eid prayer will take place in more than 800 mosques. In the area of Muftiate Sarajevo, the central Eid ceremony will be held in the Skenderija Culture and Sports Centre.

Morning Sabah prayer will be at 4:40 am, and then a special program will be performed by the choir El-Fatih. Eid prayer will take place at 5.57 am, and will be led by Mufti of Sarajevo, Enes ef. Ljevaković. Also, parking space will be provided for all of those who arrive by car.

The Muftiate of Sarajevo congratulates the upcoming Eid to all of Muslims.

“For those who were fasting throughout the holy month of Ramadan, Eid is a unique reward for their efforts, patience, persistence in fasting and endurance. Prophet Muhamed p.b.u.h said that it is a “jevmul-jaiz”, the Day of reward, when the joy and happiness can be seen on those who were fasting. The physical and spiritual satisfaction is reflected on their faces.

Hadith of Muhammad p.b.u.h. states that Allah s.w.t. said: ‘Fasting is Mine and I shall give a special award for it ‘.
