Central Electoral Commission: Counting of Votes Still Ongoing

votesIn accordance with the Election Law of BiH, in the Main Center for Counting in Sarajevo, which is situated in the Olympic Hall “Zetra“, votes that came through mail, votes of voters in absence, votes of voters who voted on unverified ballots and votes of voters who voted through mobile team will be counted.

Spokesperson of the Central Election Commission of BiH Maksida Pirić told FENA that at the moment there are preparations in the Main Center to start counting votes and in accordance with the determined schedule counting will begin on October 16.

”That is the plan,” said Pirić.

She added that all activities in the Main Center for Counting in Sarajevo are being carried out in presence of accredited election observers, observers of political subjects and citizens’ association from BiH and abroad.

Pirić said that as of today, Central Election Commission of BiH has the obligation to update elections results every 24 hours for the next five days.

”We plan to do it every day for the next five days around 14 hours and information will be available to everyone on the website of the Central Election Commission of BiH,” emphasized Pirić.
