As part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen the efficiency and quality of justice in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the CEPEJ is organising two workshops focused on court user satisfaction surveys, with an in-person session in the Basic Court of Brčko District on 14 February 2025 and an online session in the Basic Court Trebinje on 18 February 2025.

These events will provide an opportunity to analyse the results of the satisfaction surveys conducted in these courts at the end of 2024, to share good practices and to discuss an action plan and recommendations for improving judicial services, such as access to the court and reception by staff, the availability of information on the functioning of the courts, the management of hearings, and the clarity of judicial decisions.

The presidents, judges, registrars and other court officials will discuss the implementation process, the challenges encountered and the lessons learned from conducting six types of surveys in Brčko and three in Trebinje. The workshops will also include a presentation of the Slovenian experience in the use of satisfaction surveys as a decision-making tool for the improvement of judicial services.

The workshops will be moderated by Jaša Vrabec, Head of the Office for Court Management Development at the Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia and President of the CEPEJ Working Group on the Evaluation of Judicial Systems (CEPEJ-GT-EVAL), CoE writes.
