Ceric and Samardzic won Gold Medals at the European Judo Cup

12443281_1742627555973921_2146077340_nBiH judo players Aleksandra Samardzic and Larisa Ceric won gold medals, while Harun Sadikovic won the silver on the first day of competition at the 11th European Cup for seniors “Sarajevo Open 2016”, which is held in the hall of KSC Ilidza.

In the category up to 78 kg, Aleksandra Samardzic defeated representatives of Turkey and Croatia in eliminations, and she was better than Mathilde Gil from France in the match for the gold medal.

Best BH judoka Larisa Ceric defended her title in the category over 78 kg in the final match against the representative of Serbia Milica Zabic, and she was better than two Turkish competitors in eliminations.

After he was defeated by Slovenian Vito Dragic in the final category over 100 kg, Harun Sadikovic failed to defend gold in this tournament.

On Sunday, the second day of the European Cup, the competition is starting with qualifying matches from 10 am, while the final matches are on the program from 4 pm.

More than 250 judokas from 23 countries are participating at the European Cup.
