Chairman of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH’s) Presidency Bakir Izetbegovic hosted Ambassador of the State of Qatar, Sultan bin Ali al-Khater.

During the meeting, interlocutors stressed that the two friendly countries have good bilateral cooperation, but they noted there is a room for intensification, especially in the field of economy.

Ambassador Al-Khater stressed the great interest of investors from Qatar to continue their investments in Bi, especially in projects in the field of health, agriculture and education.

He noted that there is a mutual interest in removing administrative obstacles for citizens of Qatar related to property ownership in BiH. When it comes to the solution, two countries could agree in reciprocal decisions that would enable Qatar citizens to have the same rights in BiH as our citizens in Qatar.

Izetbegovic introduced Ambassador Al-Khater with the current situation in BiH and stated he hopes that the friendly relations of the two countries in the coming period will be further deepened.
