The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić, met in New York with the President of South Korea, Yoon Suk Yeol.
The bilateral meeting between the chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the president of South Korea is also the first meeting of the officials of the two countries at the highest level.
During the meeting, relations between the two countries were discussed.
The President of South Korea, Yoon Suk Yeol, expressed particular satisfaction with the holding of the meeting, which he called historic. Yoon Suk Yeol announced during the meeting that South Korea plans to open an embassy in Sarajevo.
The President of South Korea asked for the support of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the second round of voting, and in connection with the organization of Expo 2030, Yoon Suk Yeol said that South Korea will continue with various projects of practical benefit that it implements in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić, assessed the political relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and South Korea as excellent, stressing that there is room for improving economic cooperation, as well as cooperation in the fields of education, culture and sports.
