radmanovi? i munChairman of the BiH Presidency Nebojša Radmanović received today in Sarajevo the Ambassador of the US to BiH Patrick Moon.

They spoke of current internal political issues in BiH, as well as of some of the problems in international relations.

The main topic of the discussion was the completion of activities tied to resolving military and other types of property in BiH.

Moon said that the issue of military property remains unresolved because the agreements reached at an earlier period have still not been implemented, despite repeated promises.

Radmanović said that he is an optimist and that this issue will be solved soon by accepting a guarantee of the basic principles of distribution and other assets on which the RS is insisting, and acceleration of activities of the working group of the BiH Council of Ministers, which is in charge of these issues.

Moon was interested in two more current issues from the BiH political scene: problems with the release of a unique identification number of newborn children and amendments to the laws on registration of voters.

They agreed that political leaders should discuss these issues and propose solutions to these issues through the competent ministries in the BiH Council of Ministers.

On this issue, they showed moderate optimism.

The most important and most difficult issues at this time in BiH remains the issue of the implementation of the “Sejdić – Finci” ruling.

During the discussion they noted that in addition to the electorally proposed solutions on this issue, which was agreed on in Brussels, in the BiH Parliament there are three more proposals for this issue, none of which has the necessary parliamentary majority, so that the entire process remains blocked.

They expressed skepticism on this issue.

Moon was interested in the position of BiH in relation to the newest resolution of the UN Resolution on Syria in the General Assembly. Radmanović informed the Ambassador that members of the BIH Presidency agreed and decided to support this resolution at tomorrow’s vote, announced the BiH Presidency.
