Chairperson of BiH Presidency met with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The Chairperson of the BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, spoke today in the presidential palace “Akorda” in Astana with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

During the meeting, where current global political and economic topics were discussed, the interlocutors stated that the bilateral relations between BiH and the Republic of Kazakhstan are good and friendly, without open questions, and that there are great potentials for their improvement.

As announced by the BiH Presidency, Cvijanović pointed out the need to strengthen political relations through the intensification of official visits and mutual support in multilateral formats, as well as through the development of economic cooperation between the two sides.

On this occasion, the President of Kazakhstan Tokayev thanked Chairperson Cvijanović for her visit to Kazakhstan and participation in the Astana International Forum, stressing that her visit represents an additional impetus to the further development of relations between BiH and Kazakhstan in all spheres.

The interlocutors exchanged opinions on the possibilities of improving trade between the two countries, and in this context, President Tokayev informed Cvijanović about the possibilities and potentials of the Kazakh economy, and the development models that this country applies.
