Chairwoman of BiH CoM met with the EBRD Delegation

The Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, held a meeting with a high-level delegation of directors – members of the Board of Directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), at which the importance of the partnership between BiH and the EBRD in implementing key reforms, strengthening stability and supporting the country’s economic development was highlighted.

Krišto thanked the EBRD for its continued engagement in approving and financing infrastructure and economic projects, especially in the electricity sector and green transition.

The importance of continuing the construction of Corridor Vc, which is of key importance for the transport connection of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region, was also emphasized, the Council of Ministers of BiH announced.

The participants of the meeting agreed on the need for further harmonization of strategic priorities, in order to ensure stronger economic growth and faster progress of BiH towards European integration.

The meeting was assessed as confirmation of a strong partnership and continued successful cooperation between BiH and the EBRD.
