Representatives of the Association of Bosnian-Turkish Friendship ”Bosfor” will award the High Representative in BiH Valentin Inzko with the charter ”Friend of Bosnia”. The ceremony will be held on 19th December in the building of the municipality of Stari Grad.
This award was given to Valentin Inzko on 25th May, in Milodraž near Kiseljak, on the 549th anniversary of Ahdnama ,a decree given by the Ottoman sultan which guaranteed the freedom of Bosnian Francisans.
Given the fact that the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina did not attend the central manifestation because of his duties it was agreed that the Charter “Friend of Bosnia” will be awarded to him later.
Besides Valentin Inzko, former president of Croatia Stjepan Mesić was also awarded with the charter ” Friend of Bosnia”.
