Chess Tournament in September for Žepče Pensioners

ZepceThe Executive Board of Pensioners of municipality Žepče reached a decision to organize a chess tournament in September for members of the Žepče Association.

A committee was established to help organize the tournament and is composed of: Vlado Marković, Ezib Krehmić and Marko Andrić.

Based on the completed registration, the organizing committee will decide on the place, manner and terms of competition.

A modest reward is expected to be handed out to the winners.

The organizing committee will endeavor to include this program in the celebration of the 555th anniversary of the naming of the city of Žepče.

The aim is to encourage activities for retired people, as well as to reanimate the game of chess in Žepče, which was always an important part of the everday life of the people of Žepče, according to Radio Žepče.
