Chief of Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina Senad Masovic pays Visit to North Macedonia

Chief of Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AF BiH), Lieutenant General Senad Masovic heads the AF BiH delegation, which is in an official visit to the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia from March 4thto March 6th.

Lieutenant General Mašovic was greeted by Chief of General Staff of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurcinovski, with the highest military honors in the capital Skopje.

A briefing was also held for the delegation from BiH at the Headquarters of the Army of North Macedonia.

The two sides discussed cooperation between the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and North Macedonia, stressing the need for the development and improvement of that cooperation in the areas of mutual interest, especially in the field of training and education in military centers.

During the bilateral military meeting, the two delegations paid special attention to topics related to the security situation in the region, as well as the importance of developing regional military cooperation in multinational initiatives.

They also exchanged ongoing information on the status and focus of activities of the armed forces, as well as future tasks and plans, with an emphasis on presenting projects for the development and modernization of the two armed forces of the two countries.

It was jointly concluded that there was a high level of cooperation between the AF BiH and the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia, and that mutual support would continue on the path to Euro-Atlantic integration, until the final accession to the EU and NATO.
