Strengthening the capacities of prosecutor’s offices and police agencies in BiH on their European integration path are the main aspects of a project funded by the European Union.

The Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, Gordana Tadić, met with Mr. Bernard Legras, Senior Project Leader and his associates within the EU4Justice project, implemented by the GIP Justice Coopération Internationale – the implementing agency of the French Ministry of Justice.

The aim of the project is to improve cooperation between all prosecutor’s offices in BiH and competent police agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina.  The activities are to be carried out in support of the leading role of prosecutors in investigations through the exchange of experiences of all key actors and introduction to EU standards and practices.

The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has previously cooperated with colleagues from France on a project to strengthen prosecutorial capacities.
