Tadic and Stankovic spoke on Cooperation between Prosecutors Office of BiH and Montenegro

The co-operation between the Prosecutor’s Offices of the two countries in activities of strengthening the rule of law and judicial cooperation was discussed at the meeting.

During her visit to Podgorica, Chief Prosecutor of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office Gordana Tadić met with Supreme State Prosecutor of Montenegro Ivica Stanković.

The Chief Prosecutor and the Supreme State Prosecutor discussed about joint co-operation between the two Prosecutor’s Offices, joint activities in countering organized crime, fight against the impunity of war crimes, as well as about activities to strengthen the rule of law and judicial co-operation.

A day earlier, during her visit to Montenegro, Chief Prosecutor Tadić took part in a regional conference on the obligation to execute decisions of the European Court of Human Rights.

The conference was attended by top officials from the Prosecutor’s Offices, supreme and constitutional courts from the countries of the region, officials from judicial, police and judicial and executive authorities in Montenegro, representatives before the European Court of Human Rights from the countries of the region, as well as representatives of the EU and the Council of Europe to Montenegro.
