On the occasion of the biggest Orthodox holiday, Easter, an Easter picnic was organized yesterday in the “Petar Kocic” park in Banja Luka, where young children decorated and painted Easter eggs.

The picnic was organized by the City of Banja Luka, and Mayor Drasko Stanivukovic stated that the goal of this event is to bring children closer to culture, traditions, and customs.

Stanivukovic wished all believers of the Orthodox faith that Easter joy would enter their homes and that this great holiday would bring them good health, well-being, and peace, stating that only when there is peace, harmony, and togetherness “we can achieve everything we wish for”.

The Creative Team of the City Administration was in charge of creative workshops for the youngest fellow citizens.
