BiH Presidency Member Denis Bećirović received the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Li Fan, on an inaugural visit. During the conversation, Bećirović pointed out the serious security challenges in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He emphasized that the separatist actions of the leadership of the Bosnian and Herzegovina entity of RS have led to a direct threat to the Dayton Peace Agreement, i.e. the Constitution of BiH, as well as security and peace in our country. He warned that these are extremely aggressive attacks on the constitutional and legal order of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Li Fan, emphasized the importance of preserving peace as the greatest value, while respecting the principles of international law. She expressed the People’s Republic of China’s strong support for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. She also said that the policy of the People’s Republic of China implies that all disputed issues should be resolved through dialogue.
