ambasadorAmbassador of the People’s Republic of China to BiH Dong Chunfeng was a keynote speaker at the session of Circle 99 in Sarajevo on ‘’Economic Initiatives of China in Central and Eastern Europe and in BiH’’.

At the recent summit in Belgrade Chinese investments were specified amounting to 10 billion dollars in the region and many countries have already launched their initiatives.

“Reason of inviting him to today’s session is because we find that BiH should have its own kind of equidistance towards all global power centers – equal cooperation and distance so that any economic initiative is interpreted as economic initiative without any ideological or political background,’’ emphasized President of Circle 99 Adil Kulenović.

“This year will represent 20 years of diplomatic relations between PR China and BiH, which will be marked with a ceremony,’’ emphasized Ambassador Chunfeng.

One of the projects in BiH is boiler plant of the future thermal power plant Stanari.

Chunfeng emphasized that China is interested in investing in any area in BiH, adding that transport infrastructure is very important for development of a country, because it brings great contribution to development of economy of a country.

“That is the China’s experience in development of its economy. There is good basis for development of economy in BiH,’’ said Chunfeng.
