memorandum singingMinister of Trade and Tourism Predrag Gluhakovic and representative of Multinational Holdings Group from Macao Aleks Lao Vong signed the Memorandum of Understanding in the field of tourism between the Government of the RS and this Chinese corporation.

The signing ceremony was attended by the President of the RS Milorad Dodik and the Prime Minister of the RS, Zeljka Cvijanovic.

Minister of Trade and Tourism of the RS expressed his belief that companies from China are interested in investing a huge amount of money not only in the territory of the RS but the entire BiH as well.

“The signed agreement means that we can offer this Chinese company to invest in all tourist destinations that are interesting to us in the RS,” said Gluhakovic.

Speaking about the situation in the Olympic Center “Jahorina” Gluhakovic said that the final version of the proposal in which direction this company needs to go will be sent in the next 20 days.

“We had the opportunity to discuss this issue with representatives of the holdings group` Macao`. We will continue these conversations, and the management of the Olympic Center `Jahorina` is invited to join us as well,” noted Gluhakovic.

He stated that there are several proposed models when it comes to the Olympic Center “Jahorina”.

“The safe model that will give results for sure is the one that Serbia applied as well. This model includes separation of the ski-part from the catering, i.e. the hotel part and we believe that in this way we will reach the final solution as soon as possible in order to complete the story with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on the artificial snowing that is insufficient on Jahorina,” said Gluhakovic.
