Chinese President Xi Jinping is starting a two-day official visit to Belgrade today, where he will be hosted by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.

Xi Jinping will be accompanied by a delegation of 400 people, and thirty agreements should be signed during the visit, the media reports.

A formal reception for the Chinese president will be organized in front of the Palace of Serbia.

The presidents of China and Serbia will discuss bilateral relations and the improvement of cooperation between the two countries.

Vučić previously announced that Serbia will initiate accelerated development projects and strive to develop the best relations with China.

He pointed out that Serbia is proud of its steely friendship with China and that the visit of the Chinese president is of the greatest importance in every sense.

This will be the second visit of the Chinese president to Belgrade in the past eight years.

Serbia is the second stop of the European tour of the Chinese president, who arrives in Belgrade from Paris, and after Serbia he will visit Hungary.
