Chinese TEBA Company interested in investing in Coal Mines in RS

The Mayor of Novi Grad Municipality Miroslav Drljaca met on Saturday with representatives of TEBA, one of the largest Chinese energy companies and leader in cable production.

The meeting was attended by Director of the Economic Revival from Banja Luka, a concessionaire of Ljesljani coal mine. At the meeting, interlocutors discussed the possibilities of investing in the mine, its capacities, the market, the workforce and the readiness of local self-government to provide full support to the investor.

The provision of the required documentation and training of staff should be made by the municipality.

Apart from possible investmet in mine, other investment opportunities have been presented to Chinese investors, with particular emphasis on the wealth of the area around the Ljesljani mine with thermos mineral water.

Chinese investors visited the Government of Republika Srpska, where they talked about investment conditions and imports of machinery and equipment, after which they will consider all investment options.
