Christiane Amanpour faktor.baThe famous CNN reporter Christiane Amanpour commented on social networks the visit of the Pope Francis to Sarajevo, saying she was happy to see the Pope in ”the city of resistance and human courage”.

Amanpour, known as the war reporter from B&H, recalled the year 1997 and the visit of the Pope John Paul II to the BH capital.

”I was covering that visit. I am glad that the city still receives the papal blessing”,  Amanpour wrote.

She added that the Pope Francis visited Sarajevo a month before the marking of the 20th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide.
