The citizens of Sarajevo showed their humanity in action when they saved the stray dog from the Miljacka River today.
The dog, probably in search for food, went down in the riverbed near Otoka and couldn’t climb up back because it was too steep, and the river is deep at some parts.
The unfortunate dog swam from one side to another, trying to climb up but he failed. The citizens who were passing by noticed the dog and one of them went down without the equipment, only using his belt to get the dog out.
The animal was visibly shaken, but in safe. A large number of passers witnessed and recorded it by camera.
