Citizens of Vogošća collected 19 Tons of Flour for Syrian people

aleppo-syria-massacreCitizens of Vogosca in Sarajevo have managed to collect 19 tons of flour for help to people in Syria.

Salem Numanović, the president of the “Coordination of veteran association” of Vogosca Municipality, said that he is satisfied with the response of citizens of Vogosca and that he would like to thank for everyone who participated in the humanitarian project.

A representative of the Association of Pomozi.ba, Adnan Tatarević, added that the humanitarian project was successful and that around 250 tons of flour was collected, of which 19 tons in Vogosca. All the flour will be sent to refugee camps in early February.

He also pointed out that much of the work was done by the “Coordination of veterans association” of Vogosca Municipality, in cooperation with members of the Veterans’ unions “Step Forward”.
