The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina appointed today Enes Karić as director of the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina, after he dismissed Mirsad Vilic from that position due to the acquisition of retirement conditions.

The appointment decision enters into force on the day of adoption, and will be applied the day after its publication in the Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Until now, Karić was the commander of the State Intelligence and Protection Agency for  Special Unit.

Ensad Korman was appointed to the position of deputy director of the BiH Border Police, and Fahrudin Halač was dismissed from that position, the Council of Ministers announced.

These appointments complete the leadership of police agencies at the state level.

Aleksandar Todorović was appointed director of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Aleksandar Cincar was dismissed from that position due to the expiration of his mandate.

All three new appointees were the highest ranked candidates.

Considering that the tender procedures are in progress, the Council of Ministers appointed Milica Ristović Krstić as the acting director of the Institute of Metrology of BiH and Nataša Grubiša as the acting director of the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of BiH.

They will continue to work continuously until the end of the tender procedure, and for a maximum period of three months.

Petar Biličar has been appointed acting deputy director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Records and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina, starting from June 2 until the end of the competition procedure, and for a maximum mandate period of three months.

The Council of Ministers was informed about the individual notifications about the expiration of the mandate of the acting director of the Institute for Metrology of BiH and the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of BiH, as well as the acting deputy director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Records and Data Exchange of BiH.
