The representative of the German Society for International Cooperation – GIZ, Amra Muratović, at a meeting held on the premises of the JU Employment Service of the Canton Sarajevo submitted the folder “Competency passport” to the director of this institution Igor Kamočajij.
This act made official the continuation of the project “Support for Adult Education in B&H” funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
In the first phase of this project, which began early last year, associates of GIZ based their work on vocational training of unemployed people, in order to increase their competitiveness in the labor market, and then the project is extended to employees of the Service, trained by German experts in the field of labor and employment.
“Competency passport” is a document that involves skills of unemployed person, acquired in a formal or informal education.
