The Draft Law on Days off for Religious Holidays Defined

vijece-ministara-newThe Council of Ministers of B&H at today’s 64th session in Sarajevo by a majority votes determined the draft law on days off during religious holidays in Bosnia and Herzegovina for employees in all institutions, organizations and businesses, and all other forms of the activities and services in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, said the the Council.

The proposed law has set an equal number of non-working days, five days a year, to mark the defined religious holidays for members of the Islamic community, Orthodox, Catholic and Judaic faith, as well as members of other religious in B&H.

Entities and Brčko District shall adjust their law on holidays with this law within six months after the entry into force of this law.

The Ministry of Civil Affairs shall submit this proposal to the Parliamentary Assembly of B&H.
