Iranian Cultural Center in Sarajevo announced that, within the presentation of the cultural traditions of Iran to friendly people of BiH and the celebration of the upcoming Iranian New Year – Nevruz, they are organizing the Concert of traditional Iranian music.
The program will be held in three cities; Mostar, Sarajevo and Zenica, in the period from the 21st to 23rd of March 2016, in cooperation with the cultural institutions of this country. During this period, music group Irahestan will be staying in BiH.
There is 6 members of the music group Irahestan, and they officially gathered and started performing together a few years ago. They are originally from Shiraz. They performed a significant number of concerts so far and won significant awards for their work.
Concerts of traditional Iranian music will be organized in the following cities of BiH:
21/03/2016. – Mostar, in cooperation with the National Theatre in Mostar. The program will start at 8:00 pm.
22/03/2016. – Sarajevo, hall of Dom mladih (the Youth House) – Skenderija. The program will start at 6:30 pm.
23/03/2016. – Zenica, in cooperation with Zenica City Museum, in the framework of the International Festival “Zenica Spring 2016”. The program will start at 6:30 pm, as announced from the Iranian Cultural Centre in Sarajevo.
