meetingEvery crime should be investigated and prosecuted, and the perpetrator should take responsibility individually, as said during yesterday’s meeting of Chairman and member of the Presidency of BiH Bakir Izetbegovic and Dragan Covic with the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), Serge Brammertz.

Chief Prosecutor of Hague Tribunal said that the Prosecution of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague will continue to monitor and support the judicial institutions in BiH that are prosecuting war crimes committed in the former Yugoslavia, adding that the priority is completion of the remaining cases before the Hague Tribunal.

Brammertz, who is visiting BiH on the occasion of preparing for a regular six-month report to the UN Security Council, expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation with the authorities in BiH, and offered a support to our judicial institutions, as announced from the Presidency of BiH.
