Conferece in Sarajevo Today-NATO and Southeastern Europe: B&H, Serbia and Croatia

Croatia in NATOThe Atlantic Initiative, in cooperation with the Embassy of the USA in B&H will organize in Sarajevo today  a conference called NATO and Southeastern Europe: B&H, Serbia and Croatia.

The speakers of the conference will be Thomas E. Mesa, Head of the Press Relations Office of the US Embassy in B&H and Nerzuk Ćurak, President of the Council of Atlantic Initiative and Professor at the Faculty of Political Science.

Jelena Milić from the Center for Euro-Atlantic Studies from Belgrade and Dritan Abazović, Deputy in the Montengrin Parliament will discuss the regional perspective of integration.

Davor Božinović, member of the Croatian Parliament and former Minister of Defense of Croatia will speak about the Croatian experiences of the five years since accession to the North Atlantic Alliance.

Goran Pranjić from the B&H Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Brane Janković from the B&H Ministry of Defense will speak about the current process of B&H accession to NATO.

Edina Bećirević from the Atlantic Initiative and Professor at the Faculty of Criminology and Security Studies will present a report called State and its property: policy analysis.

Brigadier Ole Fauske, Deputy Commander of NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo will give concluding remarks.
