svemThe 20th Sarajevo Night of Music (SVEM) will take place from 6 to 10 May. The first program that the public can attend is the concert of the best students of the Sarajevo Music Academy with their colleagues from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana.

The Artistic Director of Sarajevo Night of Music Ninoslav Veber drew attention to the fact that Sarajevo does not have a proper concert hall where quality concerts could be held featuring major names from the field of art music.

However, SVEM has still managed to host one of the most important and intriguing pianists Ivo Pogorelić.

In addition to Ivo, SVEM will also host the Croatian Ad Gloriam Brass, Chamber Choir of the Music Academy of University of East Sarajevo, Choir Pantonima, and Olga Kern, one of the best young pianists.

Events of SVEM will be held in the B&H House of Armed Forces, National Theatre and Church of St. Joseph.
