The Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) 1990 will be represented in all 37 municipalities in which it ran for elections, the party’s president, Ilija Cvitanović, said at a press conference on Sunday.

“We will preserve our political relevance in the territory of the entire Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republika Srpska entity. As for the mayoral positions, I know that in Tomislavgrad the coalition candidate Ivan Buntić is in the lead, in Livno the race between our candidate and the candidate of HDZ BiH is very tight, and the coalition candidate in Vitez won the elections, these are the exact data I currently have,” said Cvitanović.

He pointed out that he expects the return of the HDZ in 1990 to the City Council of Mostar.

Schmidt announced that he will “take measures” if there is no agreement on changes to the BiH Election Law
