Miloš Vučić, the joint candidate of the Serbian parties for mayor of Srebrenica, said that he can declare victory in Srebrenica and thanked the citizens for their trust.

“We had a significantly higher turnout at regular polling stations than in the previous period. We have data on the turnout that is close to 6,300, which is a higher turnout than in the last election, and we believe that the victory will be significantly higher, with a difference of a thousand in my favor,” he said.

He added that the difference included the votes of voters who voted in absentia and by mail.

Vučić assessed that even with this calculation the difference is unattainable and stated that “Srebrenica is getting better”.

Vučić’s counter-candidate was Hamdija Fejzić as an independent candidate.
