victims-turkey-attackConsul of BiH in Istanbul Adi Durmic confirmed that the situation in Istanbul is quiet after last night’s terrorist attack, and that there were no BH citizens among the victims.

“In the city resides president, prime minister and other members of the Turkish government because of the organized funeral for killed police officers. Also, protest walk was held during the day ,” said Durmic.

According to recent information, 39 people were killed in the two explosions and more than 150 wounded, with 14 persons among them in very critical condition.

The victims were mainly members of the special police who were engaged in the match Besiktas – Bursaspor. The attack near the Vodafone Arena, the stadium of the football club Besiktas, took place two hours after the match.

Turkish authorities believe that the perpetrators of this work may be associated with a group of Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant or Kurdish militants.

So far, ten people suspected of organizing the attack were arrested.
