Foundation ‘Cultural Heritage without limits (Kulturno naslijeđe bez granica)’ will construct a children’s park inspired by the cultural heritage of BiH on the territory of Kresevo.
“Steckov carobni park (Stecak’s magical park)” will be built next to the kindergarten “Radost”. The park is part of the project of the same name within which will be organized creative workshops for children about the cultural heritage of our country and the importance of recycling.
Partner in the project is the company dm drogerie markt. On the occasion of the jubilee, 10 years of business operation on the territory of BiH, the company invited the citizens to submit projects through the initiative of dm ‘Together for a better tomorrow’. Ten projects out of 445 applications received have been chosen and dm will support their realization. One of the selected projects is “Stecak’s magical park”.
“Stecak’s magical park” is the first park of its kind that CHwB plans to make in our country. We found inspiration for the park and workshops in kindergarten in our rich cultural heritage, but also the children and their creativity. We believe that children in kindergartens are our youngest guardians of heritage, which in a few years will be great advocates of conservation and protection of the common cultural heritage,” said the Deputy Director of CHwB Aida Vezic.
The “Stecak’s magical park” will be realized in the period from August to November of 2016. Children of the kindergarten “Radost” in Kresevo will receive a park in which various elements (houses, swings, slides) will be inspired by the old bridges, folklore, century-old mills in Jajce, Kresevo bazar, as well as the natural heritage of our country.
Recycled materials will be partly used in the construction of the park, due to which CHwB launches a campaign of collecting recycled materials, which runs from the 18th of August to 18th of September 2016. CHwB invites the citizens of BiH to donate recycled materials (tires of cars, boards, color etc.) and thus contribute to the construction of “Stecak’s magical park”, creating of better life conditions and better conditions for the life and development of children, as well as preservation of the environment.
