The intensification of reforms, adapting the education system to the needs of the economy and the construction of infrastructure, are some of the most important needs of business representatives of the Central Bosnia Canton (SBK). All the previously mentioned were presented to the BiH Presidency member, Bakir Izetbegovic, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Denis Zvizdić, and the Premiere of the Federation of BiH, Fadil Novalić.
“When we talk about infrastructure, this is primarily related to the construction of the fast road Lašva-Travnik, where the biggest traffic jam in BiH happens. The resources for this project are provided, there are no problems with the project and licenses, and we expect that the project will start this year,” Izetbegovic said to journalist.
The Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Denis Zvizdić, said that they also spoke about the need to create a regulatory framework in order to create new business opportunities and create a better business environment in BiH.
“This will be the environment that will encourage domestic investment and provide some strategic partnerships with foreign investors. These meetings are valuable for all governments because the concrete proposals can be heard, which we will try to put into legal solutions and change business environment, “said Zvizdić.
Federal Prime Minister highlighted that the road infrastructure is a priority for businesses, but stressed that the CBC has parameters that are above the average for the Federation.
“In the last 18 months, employment has risen by 7.2 percent, and for the Federation of BiH to 5 percent. Unemployment fell by 6.2 percent, and in the Federation for 5 percent. Something positive is happening in BiH and we need to support it,” said Novalić.
