The Construction of the Fast Road “Mostar – Siroki Brijeg – Border with Croatia” next year

roadStarting of tender procedures for the fast road “Mostar – Siroki Brijeg – Border with Croatia” is expected this year, and the implementation of the project will take place in 2017, as confirmed for “Vecernji list” from the PC Highways of the FBiH.

It is a project that should improve the traffic between Mostar and the border with the Republic of Croatia.

It is a road which should be located on the route Mostar – Siroki Brijeg – Grude – Zagvozd, and would connect intersection Mostar on the Corridor 5C with intersection Zagvozd on Dalmatini, or the Adriatic-Ionian highway.

As stated in PC Highways of FBiH, it is a long road in the length of 66 kilometers.

“The beginning of the route of the fast road Mostar – Siroki Brijeg – Border with Croatia, in the length of 66 kilometers, represents a connection to Corridor 5C in the wider area of Mostar.

“Technical documentation at lower levels of development for the part of the fast road (from the junction Polog towards the border with the Republic of Croatia, is completed,” according to the PC Highways of the FBiH.
