Mammoth_Gondola_02450x320The beginning of the construction scene is continuing with the construction of the Pale-Jahorina gondolas, said to Srna Veljko Golijanin, the Director and owner of the company ‘’Majneks’’ from Pale, which is the contractor for the project.

Golijanin said that they are currently building an object at the departure point, breaking through the routes to mount 40 poles and equipment around the gondola.

Untili now, most of the preparatory work has been done-driveways, breaking through the routes to the railway station, and works on the output station. This is rugged terrain and requires a lot of work.

According to him, when the preparatory work is done, this will mean that 80 percent of the job is done, because the installation of equipment is a fast process and lasts for two to three months.

Golijanin said that this is a big project worth around 30 million KM, and that they have around 40 percent of investments of investments.

With this project, this will be extended to the ski lifts in Jahorina by around 10 kilometers. The problem of parking will be solved on Jahorina and huge crowds.

He said that this is a very clean ecological project.

The Director of ‘Majneks” Maja Hršum stated that the gondola has already become recognizable as a European project, which speaks to the recognition it received from the European Movement in BIH for the best business-tourist project in 2012.
