The newly appointed director of the Administration for Indirect Taxation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zoran Tegeltija, assumed his duties today.
Tegeltija took over from outgoing director Miro Džakula at the ITA BiH headquarters in Banja Luka.
Let us remind you that on May 18, Zoran Tegeltija was appointed as the director of the Indirect Taxation Administration, and until his appointment he held the position of Minister of Finance and Treasury of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The name of the new Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH is not yet known, although it was announced that it will be known by the handover of the duties of the Director of the ITA.
The media previously reported that the new minister could be Srđan Amidžić, member of the SNSD in the Banjaluka City Assembly and associate professor at the Faculty of Economics in Banjaluka, but there was no official confirmation of this.
What is known is that this function should definitely belong to the staff of the SNSD, because according to the coalition agreement it belongs to them.
This ministry will be headed by the Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH, Muhamed Hasanović (SDP), until the completion of the procedure for appointing a new minister.
The decision on the appointment of a new minister is made by the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, and is confirmed by the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
